One Video of the strike ....
Well i couldn't get m hands on an actual footage shot on my college campus ... but because of few of my friends who posted this video in orkut i could get this video ... this is shot by a cell phone n is recording the news in a Tamil News Channel - 'SUN NEWS'.........
The two boys who speak to the camera are saying that the college charges a staggering amount of Rupees as Fees ... but produces fake bills in return ... thats called making Black Money ... its Unaccounted money taken By Christian Missionary Sisters ... !! how sick can that sound !!!.. well thats the truth ...
I pay 1 Lakh Rs .. that is Rs1,00,000 per year to the college but the college gives me a bill of 40,000 Rs ... that is it produces a bill of 40,000 Rs .. so the remaining 60,000 is unaccounted or Black money !!!!...
And this amount increases every year ... i heard this year the freshers had to pay a staggering 3,00,000 Rs .. 3 laks a lot of money !!!... u can buy 3 TATA NANOs at a single shot !!!!.. :P and start a taxi business with it !!...
And the other boy in the video is talking about how stupid are the college rules .. and how the teachers flunk the students by reducing their marks in the Practicals and the Internal Marks !!... and this Unethical practice is a trademark of DMI college .....

Hello people .... its been a long time since i posted something in this blog .... but now i have some serious stuff to put in !!!...
Gosh .. my college's been shut down and put on an indefinite leave !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
It all happened because of a Strike .. protested by the students .....
Well it all started on 25.3.08 in the girls mess.. As usual my college 'The DMI college of engineering' is famous for its BAD food... and unhygienic mess... What happened that day in the girls mess was a LIZARD was found in the food that night !!!... it was the usual dinner time for the girls .. but for their fucking horror they found a LIZARD in their food !!!!!...
Two girls got admitted in the hospital .... n few friends who witnesses this awe full incident told me that the LIZARD was totally roasted and the girls puked at the sight of it !!!!!...
Now the hostel girls got furious and went to complain to the college office that night... since the office is controlled by the DMI sisters and the mess too is controlled by the DMI sisters .... the girls didnt get any justice for their protest !!!....
I heard that the sister behaved rudely to the girls n even told that "In DMI you ll get this kind of food only and you have to live with it" .............. With such kind of response the girls couldn't help it and they went to the boys to join them in the protest .... and the boys hostel was furious on the response by the office Sisters about the incident !!!!.......
The angry Boys broke the glasses of the office and smashed the windows of a nearby parked car !!!....
Next day morning more and more students joined the protest and brought the college management down !!!...
And now my college is on leave .................. Still now there is no response from the DMI Sisters .... and everyone knows that .... there will never be a response from the sisters ... the college will reopen soon and the college will be the same as it was before.... tats DMI college !!!

Gents Staff are supposed to were a COAT daily to college .. and that too BLACK coat.... So they are usually seen wandering in the college campus wearing a SUIT .....
And the Lady staff are also supposed to were a Coat .. kind a jacket over their SAREES !!!... lol ...They are supposed to were a black Jacket or a Coat over their sarees inside the college campus ...
OK this is what my gents staff are supposed to were ...
Hmmm .. Ok looks Pretty Cool ... But why the heck are they wearing such a dress in Chennai ..
I really wonder.... !!!
OH .. OK THEY ARE TRYING TO COPY THE WESTERN CULTURE ...
oh i get it now ...
They are just SHOWING OFF .. that even their college staff s are total Professionals ..!!
Well whatever they are Planning to do ...
This dosent suit in chennai ...
And Cm On .. My college dosent even have an Air Conditioner .... !!!!... how are my teachers gonna bear this !!... ????
Well .. whatever ... If they Teach me my lessons properly and .... Clear my doubts .. I dont give a Damn what they make my Staff members were or what they make me were..... !!!!.....
This is what i say to myself and Move ON in life ...
Huh .... not all my Gents staff will look like Gorge Clooney
OK now comes my colleges pretty lady staffs ... they used to come in superb saree .... spend loads of money on super super sarees ... to Flaunt their style ... Hmmmm poor ppl .. form now on they have to cover themselves with this ridiculous coats !!!!

My First Day Of 5th semester .....
Hay today i had my college.. today was the first day of this accedemic session.. my 5th semester's first day...
OK today college was a bit fun and a lot boring... It was fun because i got to meet my friends and also meet my friends from 2nd year... !!!.. this was fun... meeting all my friends after a month.... we all talked about what we did during the holidays...When i asked what friends did during the holidays about 90% of my friends had the same answer that is they wasted all their time... all they did was sleep and eat :)
And that was what even i did :)
Well today the day started with a mess because my bus did not come to my stop.... And i had to go to different place far from my home to board my bus...!!!!
Hay then i went to college and coz i was so enthusiastic for meeting my friends that i didnt even wait in the canteen to have my breakfast and i went to my class room without even having my breakfast ...
I heard they served PONGAL and VADA for the breakfast.... Hmmmm its a good tasty and spicy breakfast which i missed :(

Well i went to class .... met my friends.... shook hands with them gave them a hug .. and talked n talked n talked !!!....
Then our staff member came and told us to move to the auditorium for the morning assembly for our Dpt !!!...
And today for the first time we guys were all wearing the tie :) .... and .. we were not looking so bad as i was thinking .. but actually .. all students were looking kinda smart only !!!...

In my previous post i had told u about THE DRESS CODE for the Boys .. rite !!!
I never knew that there was a change in Dress Code for the Staff Members too ...
GOSH .... A CHANGE OF DRESS CODE FOR THE STAFF MEMBERS !!!

OK let me tell you why !!
Chennai is a bit hot place .... It has loads of beaches .. but still it is a hot place.... It rains sometime .. but still the mercury rises unbearably .....
Nowadays its not so hot ... its like a bit rainy ....
In a hot country like India and in a hot place like chennai .... wearing a TIE for the boys was kind a STUPID !!! that was what i was thinking ... but .. now ..... after looking at what my teachers are wearing to college ... I REALLY PITY MY STAFF ...
